Stephen Janes practices in the areas of Creditor’s Rights, Homeowner’s Associations, Property, Employment, Landlord/Tenant, Family, and Insurance. Stephen is a zealous advocate who focuses on finding solutions that work best for each particular client.
Prior to joining the firm, Stephen served as appellate and non-routine litigation counsel for corporate clients in the area of Creditor’s Rights. In this capacity he directed litigation strategy, first-chaired trials, and handled numerous appeals. He acted as lead attorney in his prior firm’s fraud division and served as the single point of contact for all escalated discovery matters.
Additionally, Stephen was supervising attorney for business operations at a legal compliance firm. In this capacity he managed a team of 20 attorneys and was responsible for ensuring compliance with state, federal, and administrative law. He also previously handled employment law claims, landlord tenant issues, and litigated small claims matters.
While in law school, Stephen Interned for the Honorable Judge Amy Williams in the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Florida. He graduated Cum Laude from Stetson University and studied international arbitration at the Sorbonne in Paris.
