Mark Hockensmith recently joined the firm in April, 2018. He formerly lived and worked as a certified paralegal in Kansas City, Missouri, working for three well established personal injury litigation law firms over a period of 25 years and recently relocated to the Tampa Bay area with his wife and three sons.
Mark graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law – Paralegal Program and was certified in 1993. He spent 17 years with the law firm of Dougherty, Modin and Holloway, where he assisted the lawyers in handling all types of personal injury cases, before moving on to Bartimus, Frickleton, Robertson and Gorny, where he spent the next four years focusing on catastrophic injury litigation, primarily involving medical malpractice and trucking accidents. In 2012, Mark moved on to the law firm of Sherman, Taff, Bangert, Thomas & Coronado, where he focused exclusively on catastrophic personal injury/insurance litigation matters. At HD Law Partners, Mark assists the lawyers in handling contract disputes, personal injury/insurance litigation and premises liability claims.
