Valerie is the founding partner and principal attorney of VALID LAW, PLLC, bringing extensive legal expertise and dedicated client service to HD LAW PARTNERS, P.A., in the Tampa Bay area. As a former Paralegal of over 20 years, General Counsel for the largest Insurance Carrier in Florida, and then representing numerous clients as a solo practitioner in many areas of civil law, Valerie has built a reputation for providing personalized and validated legal counsel while maintaining the highest standards of professional excellence.

Valerie’s practice philosophy centers on building strong attorney-client relationships founded on trust, communication, and valid results. Valerie has prevailed on several cases on behalf of her clients, some of which include: reaching substantial settlements on behalf of insureds and insurers; obtaining financial and situational justice for single parents; procuring thousands of dollars in damages on behalf of victims in breach of contract actions; successfully securing a Fair Housing Act reasonable accommodation for a disabled client against a large Homeowner’s Association’s denial to her; and, winning a million dollar gross negligence lawsuit that she successfully got dismissed. Valerie now works closely with other experienced attorneys who serve as co-counsel on complex matters, ensuring that clients benefit from collaborative expertise and maintaining the personal attention and passion for law which defines her practice.

Originally a Hoosier Native of Indiana, Valerie has been serving clients’ legal needs in the Tampa Bay area for over 18 years. She is a single mother of 5 adult children and a rescue Maltese. Residing in Safety Harbor, Florida, Valerie enjoys golfing, running, softball, sailing, darts, and cornhole; along with volunteering within her quaint community of Safety Harbor. Valerie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Marian University and her J.D. from Western Michigan University’s Cooley Law School. She is a proud member of the Florida Bar and passionately loves practicing law with her zealous counsel for all of her clients.
