Child support is a right of a child to receive support from the parents of the child. It is actually a right that belongs to the child. It is usually paid to this custodial parent from the non-custodial parent. Or in this situation of sharing, custodial or co-parenting as it’s referred to, both of the parents are going to be responsible for supporting the child.
