Attorney/Partner/Shareholder

HD Law Partners, an established, diversified multiple-office, Tampa-based civil litigation practice, is looking for a motivated trial attorney experienced in the areas of business, first and third party property defense and insurance litigation for our Tampa office; trial experience is required. The ideal candidates must have excellent academic qualifications and a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience. Equity/Shareholder position after 2 years, or sooner; timeline depending upon credentials/qualifications/experience. Book of business is not required. Position will include handling cases at all stages from pre-suit to trial and post-trial. This position will have substantial client contact, as well as marketing involvement, inter-office management responsibilities, and developing new clientele. Excellent communication skills are necessary. Familiarity with Aderant Total Office/Client Profiles case management system is a plus. Experience with keeping time is preferred but not necessary. Must be willing to work productively and independently carrying your own clients and case load. Merger with other practices acceptable. All inquiries will be kept confidential.

Attorney for Lateral Move

HD Law Partners, an established, diversified multiple-office, Tampa-based civil litigation practice, is looking for a litigation attorney experienced in the areas of business, first- and third-party property defense and insurance litigation for our Tampa office. The ideal candidates must have excellent academic qualifications, a minimum of 1 year of experience and must be in good standing with the Florida Bar. The position will include legal research, drafting motions, arguing motions, taking and defending depositions. This position will have substantial client contact, as well as marketing involvement, so excellent communication skills are necessary. Desire to excel and focus on long-term career goals are encouraged.

Familiarity with Aderant/Client Profiles is a plus. Experience with keeping time is preferred but not necessary. Must be competent and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word/Microsoft Office. Superior working collegiality and short timeline opportunity for partnership or equity position, if desired, but not required. Merger with other practices are acceptable. Litigation Paralegal

HD Law Partners, an established, diversified multiple-office, Tampa-based civil litigation practice, is looking for a litigation paralegal experienced in the areas of business, first- and third-party property defense and insurance litigation for our Tampa office. The ideal candidates must have prior experience in insurance defense/personal injury litigation, bodily injury and/or general liability, preferred. Prior experience reviewing and summarizing medical records and bills is also preferred.

Familiarity with Aderant/Client Profiles is a plus. Experience with keeping time is preferred but not necessary. Must be competent and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word/Microsoft Office. The ideal applicant should demonstrate a superior level of working collegiately with others and communicating effectively. Working knowledge of Florida Court procedures and Florida’s e-filing system is preferred. The candidate must be highly organized and exhibit a desire to excel/work towards long term career goals.

Job duties include summarizing medical records, bills and supporting documents, creating medical chronologies and billing matrixes, preparing correspondence to clients, managing internal and court mandated deadlines, preparing hearing and trial binders, scheduling depositions, working with experts, and e-filing.
